About AroCall

Connecting Humanity Through Voice, Safely & Privately

We built AroCall to restore authentic human conversation to the internet — eliminating video pressure, paywalls, invasive algorithms, and predatory data tracking.

Our Founding Mission

Why anonymous voice communication matters more today than ever before.

The modern internet has become saturated with superficial visual feeds, algorithmic polarization, and intrusive surveillance. Legacy random chat services historically failed their communities by turning into toxic video spaces plagued by unwanted exposure, aggressive monetization, and rampant spam bots.

AroCall was created with a fundamental conviction: the human voice is the most authentic, expressive, and safe medium for spontaneous connection. Voice conveys inflection, humor, empathy, and emotion without the anxiety, visual biases, or privacy risks inherent in webcam-based platforms.

🔒

Privacy by Architecture

No mandatory accounts, no biometric tracking, and no persistent audio storage. Voice data is transmitted peer-to-peer and disappears when calls terminate.

🛡️

Proactive Safety

A strict 5-second skip cooldown neutralizes spam bots, while immediate one-click blocking and cryptographic IP hashing protect community integrity.

🌍

Zero Paywalls

Country selection, interest filtering, and interactive icebreaker games are completely free. High-fidelity human connection should never be locked behind a coin paywall.

Technical Infrastructure

Peer-to-Peer WebRTC Architecture

Unlike centralized voice platforms that route all user audio through private recording servers, AroCall leverages the open standard WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication) protocol for direct browser-to-browser media streaming.

1. Ephemeral Signaling

Our Cloudflare edge servers coordinate lightweight handshake metadata (SDP offers and ICE candidates) to establish direct peer connections, then drop all session memory.

2. Direct Media Channels

Audio packets travel directly between participant browsers using DTLS-SRTP encryption, guaranteeing that AroCall administrators cannot intercept or listen to calls.
